The STORY
Early beginnings
At the age of 10, I was able to take part in the film projects of my father Martin Kober and my grandfather Friedrich Kober. From small roles as a child to musical accompaniment, I was able to gain valuable experience.
Own projects
When I was 16, I made my first film, directing it and doing camera work. I owe this passion to my father, who introduced me to the world of film.
The shards of our love
"The Shards of Our Love" was a joint production by Yasmin Hickel and my father, where I had the opportunity for the first time to compose the music for a feature-length film and operate the camera at the same time. This experience was a significant opportunity for me to grow both artistically and technically. The film combines emotional depth and visual aesthetics and allowed me to express my creative vision in a variety of ways and guide the audience through a profound story.
Blood on my hands
"Together with my father, I developed the idea for the new 2024 film 'Blood on My Hands' and was largely responsible for the camera work. This collaboration enabled us to unite our creative vision and implement it both conceptually and visually. The film offers a gripping fusion of imagery, music, passion and a profound story that takes the audience on an unforgettable journey and now has the chance to prove itself at the World Cup."
The Stranger
My father's film, The Stranger, was a huge success worldwide and I had the privilege of being the camera operator. This opportunity allowed me to play a key role in the visual design of the film and to impress an international audience with our artistic vision. It was a meaningful experience that deepened my understanding of the global impact and technical complexity of filmmaking.
Selfie
"I took on the responsibility of cameraman for 'Selfie', the horror film. It was an exciting opportunity to create the visual atmosphere and dark mood of the film through my shots. The challenge was to find the right balance between building tension and visual aesthetics to immerse the audience in the captivating world of horror. This experience not only expanded my technical skills, but also deepened my understanding of creative collaboration in filmmaking."

The past in me
